About Hawkinberry Tree Company

October in Neptune Beach barely counts as autumn — the water is still warm and the change arrives as a shift in the wind rather than a change in color. Hawkinberry Tree Company keeps lawns through it: mowing while the grass slows, edging, trimming, and raking and blowing out the leaf and needle drop that piles against fences and foundations. The reward is a yard swept back to its own outline, every corner opened up again. Then the first cool front pushes down the coast, the humidity lets go at last, and mowing becomes pleasant work for a few months. Whatever the month happens to ask for, the yard gets it.
