About Wolff's Lawn Machines Inc.

West of Moore Haven, Fisheating Creek slides through the cypress at Palmdale, and in April the whole country smells green. Wolff's Lawn Machines Inc. opens mornings with engines turning over in the cool, then spends the day mowing, edging and string trimming yards across Glades County. Spring growth here comes fast and offers no apology, so the mowers hold a tight cycle and the walks and drives are blown clear before anyone leaves a property. There's a real satisfaction in the moment the final pass closes the pattern and the lawn reads as one continuous piece. Machines running right, grass cut even — that's the job, and it's a good one.
