American Yard Improvements

About American Yard Improvements

Late in the afternoon on Highway 90 the light goes long and gold across Milton's brick storefronts, and grass shows every stripe you left in it. American Yard Improvements schedules with that hour in mind — a mow that passes in flat noon glare can look ragged once the sun comes in sideways. The work is mowing, edging along curbs and drives, hedge and shrub trimming, and a full blow-down before the trailer gate goes up. Improvement turns out to be a small word for it: a hedge squared, a bed line recut, a lawn that finally matches the house standing behind it. The route covers Milton and Pace and runs on toward Pea Ridge and Gulf Breeze.
