About Maddog Mowing LLC

August at noon in Clay County is a dare, the kind of heat that stands still over an open lawn and makes the pines smell like resin. Maddog Mowing LLC takes the dare — mowing, edging, trimming and blowing straight through the hard hours, because Middleburg grass in late summer does not slow down just because people do. Water jug, long sleeves, one yard after another until the trailer ramp goes up for the last time. There is a stubborn kind of pride in a finished lawn cut on the worst afternoon of the year and still looking like it was done in the cool of the morning. Middleburg, Lake Asbury, Green Cove Springs and Orange Park are all served.
