About Black Creek Services Inc.

Black Creek runs dark as sweet tea under the bridge, and Middleburg has arranged itself around that bend since the town first had streets. Black Creek Services Inc. mows the yards that slope toward the water, where cypress shade and river damp make the grass grow at two different speeds if nobody is paying attention. The work runs to mowing, edging, line trimming, hedge tidying and haul-away cleanups, timed to the way a lawn on this side of Clay County really behaves. Finishing a creekside yard just as the light goes long and gold across the water is a fine way to end a day. The same care travels on to Doctors Inlet, Fleming Island and Green Cove Springs.
