Servicio de jardinería

About Servicio de jardinería

At six in the evening the light in Little Haiti turns every painted wall to gold, and that is when a freshly cut yard looks its best. Servicio de jardinería says it plainly in Spanish — garden work — and that is what the day is: mowing, edging, trimming the shrubs back into line, sweeping the walk until it's bare. The lots up here are compact and full of life, mango and avocado leaning over the fences, so the trimming is done with an eye on what belongs and what is crowding. Growth doesn't take a month off in this city, which keeps the visits regular and the beds from disappearing. A yard that gets looked after weekly rarely needs rescuing.
