Mendez's Lawn care

About Mendez's Lawn care

In Shenandoah and The Roads the streets run on their own diagonal and the live oaks lean across them until noon feels like four o'clock. Mendez's Lawn care works those shaded blocks, where turf grows thin under the branches and thick where the sun breaks through, and both halves have to be cut to the same height. Mowing, edging, hedge trimming, blowing down the walks, hauling the trimmings away — the ordinary list, done on a schedule you could set a week by. Evening is the reward: cut grass sitting in the humid air, the line along the sidewalk clean enough to run a finger down. Miami never gives a lawn a rest, so somebody has to keep showing up.
