About M.C. GENERAL LANDSCAPING, INC.

The morning comes up over Allapattah in a flat gold that finds every blade before the traffic does, and that is the hour M.C. GENERAL LANDSCAPING, INC. likes best. A few blocks off the working bends of the Miami River the yards are small and stubborn and worth the trouble — St. Augustine that runs thick to the fence line, hedges that would swallow it if nobody argued with them. The crew mows, edges, trims, carts off what it cuts, and lays mulch dark enough to make the crotons look lit from inside. By the time the heat stacks up in the west, the sidewalk is swept and the property line is an honest line again. That is a Miami lawn done right: green kept in bounds, and no apology for it.
