About Luis Hernandez Tree Service

In Miami the shade is architecture: a banyan's aerial roots, a poinciana leaning over a carport, a gumbo limbo peeling copper in the early light off Biscayne Bay. Luis Hernandez Tree Service works inside that canopy, handling tree removal when a trunk has finished its story, and tree trimming and pruning that open a crown before June stacks its thunderheads over the Everglades. A limb thinned in spring is a limb that stays put in September, and that is most of the reasoning behind every cut. When a storm does get through, the storm damage cleanup follows — the crown cut down and carried out, the sidewalk and the carport clear again. It is patient work in a city built under the trees it plants.
