About LD Landcaping & Nurcery

South of the city the nursery rows run for acres — shade cloth billowing, sabal palms in root bags, flats of ixora and jasmine waiting for a truck and an address. LD Landcaping & Nurcery lives on both ends of that road, choosing the plants and then putting them in the ground where they will actually do well. A bare Miami yard becomes a planted one over a couple of days: soil worked into the rock, palms set upright and staked, shrubs spaced for the size they will reach rather than the size they are, fresh sod rolled out and seamed. After that come the ordinary visits that keep it all honest — mowing, edging, trimming, mulch topped up before summer. Watching a young planting fill in and close ranks is the best part of the whole trade.
