About Fuentes LLC

Before the coffee window on Calle Ocho has its first line of the morning, the mowers are already running. Fuentes LLC works the tight lots of Little Havana and the streets around them, where a yard is a strip of St. Augustine, a hedge for privacy, and a mango tree holding down the corner. The grass gets cut short of scalping, the sidewalk edge gets struck straight, the trimmer goes around the chain-link, and every clipping comes off the tile and the swale before the truck moves on. In the rainy months the lawns double on you, so the visits keep a steady beat instead of a heroic one. What's left behind is easy to love: a green square with a border you could follow with your eyes.
