Arazoza Brothers

About Arazoza Brothers

Miami Springs curls in circles instead of grids, and the royal palms along its streets set a rhythm you can mow to. Arazoza Brothers takes the curved lots as they come — following the bends, edging where the walk swings wide, trimming the hedges that ride the same arc, clearing the cuttings from the drive. Nothing here is a rectangle, which means the eye does more of the work than the machine does. Late morning the planes pass over low and the whole block smells like fresh-cut grass, because it is. A curved edge, cleanly held, is a satisfaction all its own.
