My Father's Lawn Service

About My Father's Lawn Service

Late in the day the west side of Merritt Island gives up its best light, the water going pink and gold behind Cocoa while the herons stand still in the shallows and the heat finally lets go. My Father's Lawn Service works those hours gladly, finishing a yard as the shadows of the sabal palms stretch all the way across it. The work is mowing, edging, string trimming and cleanup, done the same way each visit so the grass answers back thick and even. There is a plain satisfaction in a lawn that looks intended rather than merely cut, with the borders held and nothing ragged left at the fence line. Regular service carries island yards from the rainy months into the cool dry ones without a gap.
