CLH Lawn Service

About CLH Lawn Service

Mary Esther mornings open gray over Santa Rosa Sound, the water flat as a held breath, the grass so loaded with dew that the first pass prints a dark track behind it. CLH Lawn Service works those early hours on purpose, while the air is still cool enough to be a kindness and the neighborhoods are quiet enough to hear the trimmer stop. Mowing, edging along the walks, trimming the fence lines, blowing the clippings off concrete and back into the turf where they belong. By the time the boats are out on the Sound and the day has turned bright and hot, the yard is finished and the seam between grass and driveway reads like it was drawn with a straightedge. That is the whole pleasure of it: coming back a week later and finding the line still true.
