JB's Contracting and Maintenance

About JB's Contracting and Maintenance

Monday morning on US-90 through Marianna is a slow parade of trucks, and every storefront along it gets judged at forty miles an hour. JB's Contracting and Maintenance works that frontage and the neighborhoods behind it — grounds maintenance, mowing, trimming, edging where the pavement meets the gravel, and property cleanups that take the winter grit and blown trash out of the lot islands. Commercial ground is unforgiving that way: one ragged strip along the curb and the whole place looks closed. Kept up, it does the opposite, telling anybody driving by that somebody is minding the store. That is a plain kind of pride, and it holds up all week.
