About Figo's Lawn Services Inc

Where San Marco Road runs east and the island loosens into mangrove and boat ramp, the yards feel a little more like fishing country than resort. Figo's Lawn Services Inc works that end of Marco and back again, mowing through the thick middle of the day when the mullet are jumping in the back bays and the air stands still. The turf here takes salt spray and hard sun, so the cut is kept honest, the trimmer follows every seawall and post, and the edges come out sharp against the shell and the pavers. Hedges get taken back off the screens and the driveway, beds get cleared of the vines that climb overnight in the wet months, and the clippings leave with the crew. It is plain, sweaty, useful work, and the reward is a property that looks squared away from the road to the waterline.
