About Gopher Lawn Pro's

North of Lynn Haven the pavement runs out into sand, saw palmetto and slash pine, and the ground under a mower wheel stops being soil and becomes something closer to beach. Gopher Lawn Pro's cuts in that country and in town both, usually with the sun straight overhead and the shade of a single oak worth crossing a yard for. Sandy lawns want a blade kept high and a route kept regular, and the difference between a yard mown on schedule and one mown whenever is visible from the road. Trimmer work follows the mower into the corners the deck cannot reach — around the AC pad, the porch steps, the fence posts leaning slightly the way Panhandle posts do. The blower finishes it, and the drive comes back to bare concrete. Then it is on to the next one, water bottle sweating in the cup holder.
