About Brock Lawn and Pest Control Inc.

Morning arrives in Lynn Haven along streets named for the northern states — Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania — and Brock Lawn and Pest Control Inc. is out on them before the heat has made up its mind. Mowing here is a conversation with sandy Panhandle ground and grass that grows fast enough you can nearly hear it. The work goes in one steady pass: the cut laid down straight, the edge run true along the walk, the trimmer cleaning close around mailbox posts and tree rings. Then the blower sends every clipping back into the turf, and the sidewalk reads as a clean gray ribbon again. By the time Gulf humidity settles over the afternoon, the yard is finished and holding its shape. Across Lynn Haven and out toward Panama City and Southport, that is the whole ambition — a lawn that looks looked-after from the curb, week after week.
