Sunny's lawn care

About Sunny's lawn care

Noon in Lehigh Acres has a weight to it — heat coming straight back up off the long boulevards, no shadow anywhere except beneath the one big tree in the yard. Sunny's lawn care works right through the middle of it: mowing, string trimming, edging the walk and driveway, then clearing the clippings back off the concrete. There is a rhythm to a hot afternoon, and the rhythm is what keeps the lines straight when the sun is trying to talk you out of them. The last thing at every stop is a slow walk-around, because one missed strip under a hedge is the only thing anyone will ever notice. Cold water, next street, keep going.
