About Rick Roberts Lawn Service Inc.

Lehigh Acres was drawn on paper before it was ever a town — mile after mile of straight roads and platted lots, houses and empty parcels alternating down the block. Rick Roberts Lawn Service Inc. works that grid, mowing and edging and trimming around slabs and posts, and knocking down the overgrown lots that go shoulder-high after a wet month. There is real satisfaction in taking a parcel that had disappeared into weeds and handing it back as ground a person can walk across. Midday sun out here bleaches everything flat, so the work gets measured in shade breaks and refilled water jugs. By evening the street looks different, and everyone on it knows why.
