About David Palmer's Lawn Care Services

Late in the afternoon the light out here goes gold and low, and every sabal palm and slash pine on the block lays a long shadow across the turf. David Palmer's Lawn Care Services likes that hour — the last yard of the day, the mower's line still fresh, cut grass on air that is finally cooling. The work itself is steady and unglamorous: mowing, edging, trimming around fences and palm trunks, hauling clippings off instead of leaving them to brown in the sun. Lehigh Acres soil is sand under a thin green skin, so a lawn here is earned week by week. Done right, it is the tidiest thing on the street when the sun drops.
