About We Pick Weed's & More

January mornings are the good ones in Leesburg — sixty degrees, fog on the brick of Main Street, live oaks holding their moss like they are in no hurry whatsoever. We Pick Weed's & More takes the dry season for exactly what it is: bahia gone tawny and dormant, beds gone quiet, and every weed in the county suddenly impossible to miss. That is the stretch for hand-pulling and weed control, for raking leaves and debris out from under the shrubs, for cutting bed lines back to a curve you can follow with your eye. Mowing, edging and trimming carry the rest of the calendar, through the long green months when nothing here stops growing. The name says the plain part out loud; the yard says the rest.
