About Green Design Lawn Service

January in Lauderdale Lakes arrives on a cool north wind, and for a few weeks the grass slows down and thinks about it. That is the season for shaping — reworking bed lines, cutting hedges back into form, mowing a little higher so the turf keeps its color through the dry stretch. Green Design Lawn Service treats a lawn as something designed rather than merely managed: the curve of an edge, the way an ixora hedge frames a front window, a green kept even from the door out to the swale. By March the rains return and everything begins to climb again, and the shapes set in winter are what the growth grows into. It is slow, satisfying work with a long payoff.
