About All American Lawn Service

In Lauderdale-by-the-Sea the streets are named for what grows here — Bougainvillea, Datura, Poinciana — and the lawns are small, bright and worked hard by salt air. All American Lawn Service keeps them that way: mowing, edging along the drives, trimming the borders and hedges, and clearing the clippings before the wind can move them somewhere else. Mornings on this narrow strip come in with the trade wind and the smell of the ocean two blocks away, which makes a fine hour to be outside cutting grass. Sand drifts, the sun sits hard on the turf, and a lawn that stays even and green here has plainly been attended to. That is the whole point of the visit.
