About turfit LLC

Scratch a Largo lawn and you find sand a few inches down — old barrier-island ground that drains fast and forgives nothing, which is why turf here is a practice and not a one-time job. turfit LLC works with that: mowing height set for St. Augustine so the blades shade their own roots, edges kept true, trimming done close without scalping the crown. Evenings out by Taylor Lake, when the water goes flat and the breeze finally carries a little salt inland, are the best time to see whether a lawn is truly holding — the low sun shows every ridge and every clean line. Getting that even, unbroken sweep of green across sandy soil takes returning again and again on schedule. That is the whole trade, and it is a good one.
