From The Grass Up

About From The Grass Up

A Largo lawn is only ever as good as the six inches beneath it — sand, crushed shell and whatever the last owner left behind. From The Grass Up starts down there and works upward: mowing and edging on a rhythm the turf can keep, string trimming, blow-downs, plus fertilization, weed control and the thin-spot repair that lets a patchy yard fill back in. Grass grows here in every month of the calendar, which means every mistake and every correction shows up fast. There is real pleasure in handing back a lawn thicker in September than it was in May.
