Uncle Bruce's Lawn Care

About Uncle Bruce's Lawn Care

Downtown Lake Wales still keeps its old depot and its brick-front storefronts, and the neighborhoods just behind them are the kind where people wave from the porch. Uncle Bruce's Lawn Care belongs to that scale of things: one yard at a time, mowed evenly, edged along the walk, trimmed around the mailbox and the oak, then blown clean. A Friday route leaves a street ready for the weekend, cut-grass smell hanging in the warm air well past supper. When growth eases off after the holidays, the visits lean toward hedge trimming and carrying away what the season shed. Familiar work done for neighbors, and it shows in every yard on the block.
