Murphy's Lawn Care

About Murphy's Lawn Care

May on the ridge brings heat with real weight to it and lovebugs drifting across every road in the county, and the grass in Lake Wales starts moving in earnest. Murphy's Lawn Care meets the season with the plain, complete list: mowing, edging, string trimming, hedge and shrub trimming, weed control, mulch, and drive, walk and patio blown clear. There is a particular pleasure in the edge itself — that hard line where turf stops and concrete starts, cut fresh so the whole lawn suddenly looks intended. Through summer the yards come around weekly; through the dry months the visits stretch out and the beds get the extra time. A kept lawn in this heat is a small act of stubbornness, and it is worth the trouble.
