About HOH Sod Services Inc

Sod day starts before the sun clears the rooflines, because by eleven the Lake Magdalene heat will be sitting on everything and cut turf does not forgive a slow crew. HOH Sod Services Inc unloads the pallets at the curb, grades and preps the sandy ground underneath, then works the pieces in tight rows with the seams staggered so no line shows once it knits. The last step is water, long and heavy, until the whole yard darkens and the roots have something to reach for. A bare lot in the morning becomes an unbroken green field by afternoon — few things in this trade turn around that fast or look that complete. The crew stays on for the mowing rounds afterward too, keeping the new lawn cut and edged while it settles into north Tampa soil.
