BENJAMIN TREE SERVICES

About BENJAMIN TREE SERVICES

Late in the day the west wind crosses Lake Clarke and moves every mango and gumbo limbo in the village at once. BENJAMIN TREE SERVICES works these streets and the ones just beyond them, pruning fruit and shade trees so they carry their weight where the wood is thickest. Thinning a crown before June is ordinary sense in this town, since a tree with air in it lets a gust through instead of catching it. When something has to come out it goes in a controlled sequence — roped, sectioned, cut flush, the ground raked back to grass. And the day after a storm belongs to gates, fences and the tangle piled at the end of the street.
