Total Grounds Management

About Total Grounds Management

Some January mornings the fields out toward Watertown come up white with frost, the grass dormant and quiet, and a property still has to be kept. Total Grounds Management takes the long view of a place — not one lawn but everything on it: turf mowed and edged, hedges held to line, beds cleared, leaves and pine straw pulled from the corners where they collect. The bigger lots around Lake City ask for that kind of attention, because acreage forgives nothing and shows every skipped pass. Fertilizing and weed control go down on the calendar the season sets, so spring returns thick instead of patchy. By the time frost is finished for the year, the ground is already waiting for it.
