Green Star Grounds Management

About Green Star Grounds Management

Grounds are a larger idea than a lawn: the strip between walk and road, the bank behind the building, the open field that has to be flat and even by Friday. Green Star Grounds Management works at that scale around Lake City — mowing wide turf, edging walkways, cutting shrub beds back to shape, and clearing what the wind brings down. North Florida turf takes heat and rain in equal measure, so keeping a large property even means showing up whether or not it rained on Tuesday. There is a particular pleasure in the long straight pass across open green, the mower line running true all the way to the far fence. By evening the whole property reads as one kept thing.
