Cutting Edge - The Villages

About Cutting Edge - The Villages

An edge is a small thing until you see a whole street of them — turf stopping clean at the curb, the walk running out straight to the golf-cart path, the line unbroken past every driveway. Cutting Edge - The Villages works the north end of Lady Lake, where the earliest Villages streets sit and the midday sun makes any ragged border obvious. Mowing and edging come first, then the trimmer around palms and light posts, then a blower until the pavement is bare. Weeds get taken out of the bed lines before they can blur the shape, and hedges are brought back to the plane they were meant to hold. By the time the carts start rolling again in the cool of late afternoon, the block reads as one continuous line.
