About Martian Landscaping LLC

On clear winter nights out past the lakes, the sky over Keystone Heights opens so wide you can pick out the red one sitting low in the east. Martian Landscaping LLC keeps its own work on this planet and close to the ground: mowing, edging, trimming, mulch laid into the beds and shrubs cut back into shape. The sandy uplands here drain fast and give up nothing easily, so a landscape that looks settled is a landscape somebody has tended. Clippings come off the drive, borders get drawn true along the walk, and the lot reads finished from the street. Around the lake roads that is the work — steady, unglamorous and plainly visible.
