Deep South Lawn Care

About Deep South Lawn Care

September in Keystone Heights is cicadas and standing heat, the shade line under the oaks the only cool thing for miles. Deep South Lawn Care keeps moving through it — mowing, edging, string trimming, hedges shaped and the cuttings carried away. Out here in the Clay County sandhills the grass grows on a long, generous calendar, and a lot left alone for three weeks starts turning back into scrub. There is pride in reversing that: the wild lot on Monday, the crisp rectangle on Tuesday, a border at the driveway you could lay a straightedge against. When the cooler months come the work turns to raking down pine straw and clearing what the wind brought in.
