G&T Yard and Lawn Care

About G&T Yard and Lawn Care

New Town lays out in a plain grid — Flagler, Kennedy, Duck Avenue — block after block of one-story houses with a strip of St. Augustine out front and a hedge marking the property line. G&T Yard and Lawn Care runs that grid on a weekly turn, mowing, edging, trimming around the mailbox posts and clearing the cuttings off the pavement. Grass on this island barely pauses; give it warm rain and it grows all through the year, so the calendar never really lets up. Steady work suits the crew, and a route done in order means nobody's yard gets the short version. Come Friday the whole street reads even, one green lot after another, which is a quietly good thing to leave behind.
