Tugger and Son's Lawn Care Services

About Tugger and Son's Lawn Care Services

Come October the light in Mandarin turns long and gold in the late afternoon, sliding under the live oaks and out across the St. Johns, where the river is a mile wide and in no hurry whatsoever. Tugger and Son's Lawn Care Services is often still out in it — last yard of the day, mower ticking as it cools, one more pass of the edger down the front walk. The crape myrtles start letting go, the lawns finally slow their growing, and the season for real cleanups opens up. Cutting, edging, trimming, hedge work, blowing the drives and walks clean, then loading the pile and taking it away: that is the whole list, done street by street. There is a particular pleasure in walking off a yard at dusk knowing it is squared away until next week.
