Artistic Lawn Landscape & Nursery

About Artistic Lawn Landscape & Nursery

Islamorada is measured in mile markers, a chain of islands with the Atlantic on one hand and Florida Bay on the other, and every garden here grows on ancient coral rock. Artistic Lawn Landscape & Nursery works with that stubborn, beautiful ground, landscaping and tending lawns where the topsoil runs thin and the salt air never fully lets go. On the bay side, mornings rise pearl-gray and motionless, the water so flat it doubles the mangroves, and the heat has not yet found its full voice. A nursery's stock and a landscaper's eye come together in yards where palms and sea grape frame a slice of turquoise and a lawn sits edged neat against the crushed-rock drive. In light this bright, a well-made yard is less an ornament than a picture frame for the sea.
