Johnny's lawn care

About Johnny's lawn care

Late Saturday afternoon on an Inverness side street, the shadows of the sabal palms stretch out long and a mower is finishing its last pass. Johnny's lawn care is neighborhood work in the plainest sense — cutting the grass, trimming around mailbox posts and A/C pads, edging the sidewalk, sweeping the clippings back off the drive. Nothing about it is complicated; it just has to be done, and done again next week. The reward is a street where one yard after another sits even and clean under that low gold light. That's a fine thing to drive past on your way home.
