About TIP TOP TREE SERVICES

Immokalee is awake before the sun, and by the time the field trucks have gone the light is already flat and hot over the rows. TIP TOP TREE SERVICES works the town and the ranch roads out toward Lake Trafford, where oak hammocks and cabbage palms stand in the open like islands. Trimming a palm here is a matter of the frond and the boot — enough taken to tidy the head, never so much that the tree is left bare — while pruning an old live oak means keeping its long low limbs and pulling the deadwood from the middle. Removals come after the wet season, when a tree that drank all summer starts leaning toward a house. And when a storm has crossed inland Collier County, cleanup is pulling the tangle out of the yards so a normal week can start again.
