About CJ's Landscaping

January is the kindest working weather Hudson gets: cool mornings, low humidity, a sky rinsed clean above the palmettos. That is planting season on this coast, and CJ's Landscaping spends it shaping ground — laying sod, setting shrubs and palms, spreading mulch, cutting a clean border where the lawn meets the beds. Mowing and trimming carry a property through the rest of the calendar, but the planting is what changes how a house looks from the road. There is a moment, right as the last barrow of mulch goes down, when the whole front yard finally makes sense. Chasing that moment is most of the job.
