About South Tide Services Inc.

There is no ocean here, but there is water everywhere you look — Johns Lake off to the north, Speer and Sawyer set among the villages, the Butler Chain glittering away toward Windermere. South Tide Services Inc. works that shoreline country, where the morning breeze comes off the water and a mowed slope runs down toward the bank. Mowing, edging, trimming, hedge work and cleanups make the round, with debris cleared out of the beds after a blow comes through. Lakefront turf takes sun from two directions and wind from one, and it grows accordingly. Cut it right and it holds that long, even sheen all the way down to the water.
