About Maximino Rufino Lawn Services

By early afternoon in the wet season, the Everglades begin stacking cloud along the western edge of the sky, and every yard in Homestead is suddenly working against a clock. Maximino Rufino Lawn Services reads that sky the way other people read a watch — mow first, edge second, walks cleared before the first fat drops hit the pavement. Grass down here does not rest much; a week of rain and heat can put a lawn a hand taller than you left it. The answer is unglamorous and it works: come back on schedule, cut it even, run the trimmer around the mailbox and the AC pad, and lay the lines the same direction every visit. When the storm finally rolls over the town, it falls on a yard that is ready for it.
