Smith Lawn Mower Services & Repair

About Smith Lawn Mower Services & Repair

By July a Hollywood lawn will outgrow a mower's patience — rain every afternoon, the St. Augustine climbing, and a machine that only coughed in April giving up for good. That is the hour Smith Lawn Mower Services & Repair is built for: carburetors cleaned, blades ground back to a true edge, plugs and filters and cords replaced, decks scraped down to bare metal. There is a particular satisfaction in an engine catching on the first pull after a week of refusing. Out past State Road 7, where the streets run straight and nearly every driveway holds something with a motor in it, the bench is what keeps the neighborhood cutting. Lawn care runs alongside the repairs, for the yards whose owners would rather hand the whole job over.
