About Groomes Landscaping Inc

February in Holden Heights is the good stretch: dry air, Spanish moss barely stirring in the live oaks along Holden Avenue, mornings cool enough for a jacket that comes off by nine. Groomes Landscaping Inc uses those weeks for the work summer never leaves room for, resetting hard edges, bringing hedges back into shape, clearing beds of everything the oaks let fall. The turf is resting, tawny and patient, waiting on the first warm rains of March. Mowing, edging, trimming and cleanup make up the same list all year, only weighted differently by the calendar. Handled well in February, a yard comes out of dormancy already looking like it means something.
