Bartram Outdoor brings a version of that order to Hobe Sound yards — mowing on a steady rhythm, beds cleared, hedges shaped so a shrub can be itself without swallowing the front walk. Late afternoon is the hour to judge the work, when low sun rakes across fresh-cut turf and every pass shows. Grass grows here nearly the whole year round, so the calendar is less a season than a habit of returning. From Hobe Sound to Tequesta and Jupiter Farms, that habit is the entire job.
