Everglades Environmental Care

About Everglades Environmental Care

In Hialeah, mornings start with the smell of cafecito drifting from a ventanita and the pink flash of the flamingos that have long made their home on the lake at Hialeah Park. By September the city is deep in its rainy season, with sudden downpours, steam rising off the sidewalks and royal palms rattling in the gusts, and every yard is growing as hard as it can. Everglades Environmental Care keeps those yards in hand, mowing, trimming and tending the beds so the small green squares in front of Hialeah's homes stay neat and welcoming. In a city this lively and close-packed, a tended yard is a gift to the whole block. When the clouds break and the evening light turns gold over the rooftops, the mown lawns and shaped hedges look like part of the celebration.
