Xpress Stump Grinding

About Xpress Stump Grinding

December in Hampton is bright and chilly, with frost some mornings silvering the pasture grass and a winter sun hanging low enough to stretch long shadows through the pines. It is a fitting season to deal at last with what the year's storms and old age left behind: the stump of a fallen pine by the porch, the jagged remnant of an oak near the drive. Xpress Stump Grinding comes in and chews those stumps down below the surface, turning a mower-snagging obstacle into a patch of woodchips and open ground. In a town where the trees are part of the character, clearing one spot lets the rest of the yard breathe. Come spring, grass knits over where the stump stood, and the lawn runs unbroken from the road to the back fence.
