Bright Green

About Bright Green

January is the reward for the summer. The wind swings northeast, the humidity drops away, and Hallandale Beach turns into a town of short shadows and open windows — the season when the streets around Gulfstream Park fill again and every lawn is being looked at. Bright Green works the dry months at a steady clip: mowing on a slower cycle as growth eases, edging the walks back to a hard line, trimming close where the sprinkler heads sit. Winter turf here doesn't sleep so much as settle, and it holds its color if it is cut evenly and never scalped. A yard finished in that cool light looks like it was drawn on purpose.
