About Walter's Southern Lawncare LLC

Freight still rolls through the middle of Haines City, and in November the horn carries over Hinson Avenue in long gold light with the air finally gone easy. Walter's Southern Lawncare LLC works that stretch of the year down, spacing the cuts wider as the grass slows, holding the edges to the same line, taking leaves and clippings off the drive before evening. There is a plain satisfaction in a cool-week mow: the lawn holds its shape for days, and the crisp border along the sidewalk stays crisp. Routes run north toward Auburndale and Lake Alfred and east into Winter Haven, one street at a time. Southern lawns rest in winter, and this is what tucking them in looks like.
